In 2025, Emma released Sage, her first design-led publication exploring the intersection of gardens, people and plants. A timeless companion for those drawn to gardening and the beauty of botany, it blends thoughtful storytelling with practical advice, photo essays and creative inspiration for living alongside nature.
Following on from the success of Sage – Vol. 1: Life Among Plants, Emma and the team of editorial, design and horticultural professionals at Sage Journal set to release Sage – Vol. 2: Our Creative Nature. Sage features 190+ pages of gardens and the people behind them, as well as landscapes, growing guides and recipes – all captured with evocative photography.
Six years ago, Emma Sage started sharing gardens and guides online and has built a loyal community along the way. Sage Journal is the go-to destination for gardening inspiration and education in New Zealand and Australia, with a highly engaged and fast-growing following.
Delivery
Order Processing
All orders are processed and dispatched within 2–3 working days. Orders are packed and prepared during our office hours, Monday to Friday, 8am–4pm.
Delivery Within New Zealand
- North Island: 2–4 working days
- South Island: 4–6 working days
- Rural deliveries: Please allow an additional 1–2 working days
These delivery estimates apply under normal circumstances. If lead times differ significantly, we will notify you as soon as possible after your order is placed.
Please provide a physical delivery address where someone will be available to sign for the parcel between 9am–5pm weekdays. We are unable to deliver to PO Boxes.
Once your order has been dispatched and collected by the courier, you will receive a tracking number via email so you can follow your delivery progress.
All deliveries require a signature to ensure your order arrives safely. We kindly ask that you inspect your order upon arrival. If any items arrive damaged, please contact us at customerservice@achomestore.co.nz within 5 days of delivery.
Freight Charges
Freight charges are calculated based on the size, weight, and delivery region of your order. Large, fragile, or oversized items may incur higher delivery charges due to specialist handling requirements.
For large furniture pieces, mirrors, or oversized orders, additional freight charges may apply. If you are unsure, please contact us at customerservice@achomestore.co.nz for a freight quote prior to purchasing.

International Orders
We currently ship within New Zealand and Australia only. Additional shipping costs may apply please email customerservice@achomestore.co.nz with details of your delivery location and we will provide you with a shipping quote.
Please note: Any additional taxes or customs duties that are incurred within the recipient's country are the responsibility of the buyer/recipient. These may include quarantine charges.
Gift Wrapping
We offer complimentary gift wrapping in store and online - simply leave your gift wrap request in the comments section at checkout or email customerservice@achomestore.co.nz with your order details.
