This bed head has a freestanding floor-length frame and does not need to be mounted to the wall or mattress, it's suitable for a Queen to SuperKing base with various overhang on the sides as below; 

• Q size base will fit with 26cm overhang on either side 
• K size base will fit with 19cm overhang on either side
• SK size base will fit with 11cm overhang on either side
