The Quiet Home is a stylish guide to the art of ‘house hushing’ and creating serene interiors that promote calm and wellbeing. Filled with thoughtful design principles, decluttering strategies, mindful curation and calming colour palettes, it shows how to reduce visual noise and make your home a place that whispers rather than shouts.
Created by interior stylist, writer, and designer @thedesignchaser, it draws on years of expertise and a fresh perspective on how thoughtful spaces can positively affect how we feel.

Delivery
Order Processing
All orders are processed and dispatched within 2–3 working days. Orders are packed and prepared during our office hours, Monday to Friday, 8am–4pm.
Delivery Within New Zealand
- North Island: 2–4 working days
- South Island: 4–6 working days
- Rural deliveries: Please allow an additional 1–2 working days
These delivery estimates apply under normal circumstances. If lead times differ significantly, we will notify you as soon as possible after your order is placed.
Please provide a physical delivery address where someone will be available to sign for the parcel between 9am–5pm weekdays. We are unable to deliver to PO Boxes.
Once your order has been dispatched and collected by the courier, you will receive a tracking number via email so you can follow your delivery progress.
All deliveries require a signature to ensure your order arrives safely. We kindly ask that you inspect your order upon arrival. If any items arrive damaged, please contact us at customerservice@achomestore.co.nz within 5 days of delivery.
Freight Charges
Freight charges are calculated based on the size, weight, and delivery region of your order. Large, fragile, or oversized items may incur higher delivery charges due to specialist handling requirements.
For large furniture pieces, mirrors, or oversized orders, additional freight charges may apply. If you are unsure, please contact us at customerservice@achomestore.co.nz for a freight quote prior to purchasing.

International Orders
We currently ship within New Zealand and Australia only. Additional shipping costs may apply please email customerservice@achomestore.co.nz with details of your delivery location and we will provide you with a shipping quote.
Please note: Any additional taxes or customs duties that are incurred within the recipient's country are the responsibility of the buyer/recipient. These may include quarantine charges.
Gift Wrapping
We offer complimentary gift wrapping in store and online - simply leave your gift wrap request in the comments section at checkout or email customerservice@achomestore.co.nz with your order details.
