Bastion Floor Rug - Hazelnut
The Bastion Rug brings rich colour and subtle structure to the home. Loom-knotted from New Zealand wool, its warm hazelnut-brown tone gives the space warmth and depth, while two hand-stitched linear accents add a quiet rhythm against the dense cut pile. Care:
Vacuum regularly using suction only. Avoid beater heads or rotating brushes. Shake gently to remove dust and dirt. Initial shedding is normal and will reduce over time. Rotate regularly. Spot clean using a damp, white, clean absorbent cloth. A small amount of delicate wool detergent may be used if necessary. Blot spills gently – do not rub. Do not machine wash or tumble dry. Dry flat in shade. Avoid direct sunlight for prolonged periods. Professional rug cleaning is recommended for deep cleaning. Use Rug Master underlay to reduce slipping and extend rug life. Keep away from direct heat sources and open flames. If odours develop due to humidity, air in indirect sunlight for a short period.
Please note for any rug returns we only offer a store credit or exchange. A restocking fee of 10% of the cost of the rug will also be charged for any returns.
Delivery
Order Processing
All orders are processed and dispatched within 2–3 working days. Orders are packed and prepared during our office hours, Monday to Friday, 8am–4pm.
Delivery Within New Zealand
- North Island: 2–4 working days
- South Island: 4–6 working days
- Rural deliveries: Please allow an additional 1–2 working days
These delivery estimates apply under normal circumstances. If lead times differ significantly, we will notify you as soon as possible after your order is placed.
Please provide a physical delivery address where someone will be available to sign for the parcel between 9am–5pm weekdays. We are unable to deliver to PO Boxes.
Once your order has been dispatched and collected by the courier, you will receive a tracking number via email so you can follow your delivery progress.
All deliveries require a signature to ensure your order arrives safely. We kindly ask that you inspect your order upon arrival. If any items arrive damaged, please contact us at customerservice@achomestore.co.nz within 5 days of delivery.
Freight Charges
Freight charges are calculated based on the size, weight, and delivery region of your order. Large, fragile, or oversized items may incur higher delivery charges due to specialist handling requirements.
For large furniture pieces, mirrors, or oversized orders, additional freight charges may apply. If you are unsure, please contact us at customerservice@achomestore.co.nz for a freight quote prior to purchasing.

We currently ship within New Zealand and Australia only. Additional shipping costs may apply please email customerservice@achomestore.co.nz with details of your delivery location and we will provide you with a shipping quote.
Please note: Any additional taxes or customs duties that are incurred within the recipient's country are the responsibility of the buyer/recipient. These may include quarantine charges.
