We often post about the time we spend at our beach house in Whananaki in Northland. We do spend a lot of time there and over the last 4 years we have slowly been chipping away at it so that we can share it with our family and friends.
The building that used to be the old Mini Showroom on Ponsonby Road has been re-purposed and recycled to become our family beach house, with the intention to open it up to share with friends, family and we also rent it out over Summer (to help pay off the mortgage).
Corban project managed, built, plumbed, landscaped the majority of this beach house by himself within a 12 week deadline to have it finished before we got married in 2013, and since then we have been working away at it piece by piece when budget allowed, and we couldn't be happier to now be presenting it to you to have a little sneak peak through.
A lot of the items in the house were second hand, handmade or fab-finds on trademe or the likes, but there are some super cool items too that we stock online. You can shop the look below.
If you are interested about our journey, budget, and the hard work involved you can read the full edit with everything involved in the latest Your Home & Garden issue (MAY 2017), and also more over on the Blog.
