Chat With Our Store Teams

We sat down and chatted to our wonderful Store Managers about their style, what they're loving instore at the moment, dreamy holiday destinations and more. Come and get to know them!

Meet Genevieve at our Birkenhead Store.

01 What products are on your wish list at the moment?

Kara Swing Chair - Sand
A&C Linen Sheet - Natural Small Gingham

- Verso Table Vase - Cream
Raaie Sun Milk Drops
- Relic Jug

02 How would you describe your design style?

I would say my design style centres around natural products with sustainability in mind. I love vintage and op-shopping, so I have a few beautiful mid-century furniture pieces mixed in with lovely linens and cosy textiles. My space is a mixture of the old and the new but it always feels like a work in progress!

03 Where's the next place on your travel bucket list and why?

Mexico is next on the list. I’d have to say I’m most excited to experience the food culture, closely followed by enjoying the incredible beaches with a marg in hand. Japan after that!

04 What’s your favourite way to spend a day off locally?

If I’m in the mood to treat myself, I’ll go for brunch at Duo, get my nails done over at Green Nails, go for a walk in one of the local bays and finish off with dinner at Mulan.

Meet Annabelle at our Christchurch Crossing Store.

01 What products are on your wish list at the moment?

Oh my gosh what isn’t on my list at the moment…  I would have to say the Artemis Black Frame Mirror, Natural Gingham Duvet, Poets dream salad bowl, Hacienda Lamp and the Timothy teak stool in natural. They’re all such beautiful products!

02 How would you describe your design style?

Simple yet impactful. I love creating beautifully curated spaces that people want to enjoy for a lifetime. I would say I lean towards using a lot of natural tones such as timbers and linens, as I just love the softness that these two create together. Nothing beats a beautiful light and bright space my opinion! I love bringing pops of colour into spaces with artwork. I feel artwork is the perfect accessory to any space! My favourite thing to do is use colours from your chosen artwork into other pieces in the same space e.g. cushions , throws or if you want to get more creative tiles.. or even window furnishings!

03 Where's the next place on your travel bucket list and why?

LAKE COMO!  Gorgeous scenery, amazing architecture, unreal food & wine.. need I say more..

04 What’s your favourite way to spend a day off locally?

Most definitely going out for a delicious brunch & coffee followed by a walk with my little pup Olive.

Meet Hannah at our Bloc, Mt Eden Store.

01 What products are on your wish list at the moment?

Got to be the Theo chrome range! The candle holders are at the top of the list, and the vase is the perfect vessel for fresh cut Lillies.

02 How would you describe your design style?

It’s definitely eclectic, I love injecting a bit of personality into the house with small pops of colour and playing around with interesting and fun sculptural shapes.

03 Where's the next place on your travel bucket list and why?

I would love to travel through the Middle East. Aswan, in Egypt would be the first stop to check out the unfinished obelisk there.

04 What’s your favourite way to spend a day off locally?

I’m often ducking in and out of op-shops in between all of the little errands that build up throughout the week, but can guarantee I end the day with a little duck island treat.
