2 large ripe bananas
1 cup flour
3/4 cup cocoa powder
2 tbsp vegetable oil
1/2 cup white or brown sugar
100g butter - melted
1/2 cup sliced almonds
1/2 cup milk chocolate chunks
1 tbsp baking powder
Generous pinch of salt
Dark choc chips (spring on top)
Sliced almonds (to sprinkle on top)
Preheat oven to 180 degrees.
Grab a large bowl and add the bananas, mash until smooth. Add eggs, vanilla essence, vegetable oil, butter and sugar then whisk.
Place a sieve over the bowl - add flour, cocoa powder, baking powder & salt. Sieve though then stir until combined.
Add milk choc chips and sliced almonds, stir again.
Lightly grease bread load tin and pour batter in. Sprinkle over extra almonds and dark choc chips.
Head in the oven for 45-50 mins. Poke a skewer in the middle to double check it’s cooked, if it comes out clean it’s good to go!
