A&C x The Design Chaser
At A&C, we're crazy about good looking bedrooms. So when it came time to introduce our new A&C Linen spring colour palette, we sought out some of our favourite local creatives, designers and all-round clever interiors enthusiasts to see how the new range would look in their sleep spaces.
One such enthusiast was Michelle Halford of The Design Chaser.
Well known for her pared back palette of neutral tones and calming interiors, Michelle's dreamy home has been inspiring us for years! We couldn't wait to see how she'd incorporate one of our new linen colours into her bedroom look.
"I've been talking about making some updates to our bedroom for a while, but I do find that the easiest way to reinvigorate the space is by introducing some fresh new bed linen, and a change of season is always the perfect excuse," says Michelle.
Michelle chose our new colour 'Nutmeg' as the main feature of her linen set-up.
"I couldn't resist! A warm beige brown, it has an organic, earthy feel that goes hand in hand with the natural properties and tactility of linen. Then I chose the Pinstripe sheets, extra pillowcases and euros, and I love how the subtle stripe adds textural interest and contrast to the muted tones of the Nutmeg."
On the benefits of linen, Michelle says:
"I always say that once you experience linen, you'll never turn back. Warm in winter and cool in summer, it's perfect all year round. And as someone who gets the odd bout of eczema, I recommend it as being the kindest option if you have skin sensitivities."
