We asked one of our favourite design-minded friends, Hamilton based stylist Erena Te Paa, what she's wishing to give and receive this festive season. We crush on Erena’s immaculate home and wardrobe style on the daily through the world of Instagram, so it was only natural that we wanted to know what her expert eye is coveting for Christmas...
Hopefully the last-minute shoppers among us (guilty) can find a little inspiration in her wisdom!
for my husband
Who will forget his wallet but never be without his phone. I feel that this marries both worlds perfectly. Somewhere for an eftpos card or two to go and of course, a home for the phone.
for my mum
She loves a great sun dress and the deep V at the back is a nice touch. I also feel like this can be transformed easily with a statement accessory or two. Then there is of course the fact that I can also 'borrow' it mhmm.
for my sister-in-law
This (or the blunt umbrella) are one of those gifts that anyone would be glad to have stashed in the car or in the foyer, ready for anything and stylish to boot and I'm all about it!
for my boys
I am forever searching for toys that both my boys can enjoy; it makes life easier but it also means less overwhelm and more imaginative play. I can see both my toddler and baby loving these for different reasons.
When I was younger I remember my Mum opting for a piece of art as opposed to a few smaller gifts and never understood the appeal. Now older (and dare I say it wiser) I realise that there is endless joy to be found and time spent lost to the wonder of a great image and this is that for me.
